Sculpting Away.

Sorry, no new pics today I'm currently busting my butt sculpting and trying to get my portfolio ready for the San Diego comic con.
I've got about 4 new pieces on the go in a variety of media. When I get some done i will post them up.
If you have stopped by feel free to leave a comment, i'd like to know who's stopping by.
Take it easy,
Ted.

Buffy, again

Ok, so here's a second view of the Buffy Bust.
SMG has a unique face and she's fun to sculpt, this is actually the second time I have sculpted her portrait, I played around with a sculpt a few years ago that never went anywhere.
I'm interested to see the new line of sculpts Gentle Giant made.
If you don't know they are a company that uses a lazer scanning device to scan the actor and create a copy that can be made into toys, busts, special effects pieces, props and whatnot.
I think that while the scanning creates an accurate reproduction it misses out on that feeling a sculptor puts into it.

This is my mini bust of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It's my first finished piece done in Castilene which is a toy prototyping wax.
She stands about 6" high. Copywright Black Tower Studios 2005.

Jenn.

This is a sculpt I finished earlier this year. She's a character of mine but the sculpt doesn't give away any of the details about her.
Media: Super Sculpey
1/6 scale 12".
Jenn is Copywright Black Tower Studios 2005
